Using Relationship Grids
IntermediateUsing Relationship Grids
Relationship Grids display connections between nodes in a matrix format — rows and columns represent nodes, and cells indicate whether a relationship exists.
Opening a Relationship Grid
- In the Tree View, right-click on a Relationship Type (e.g., "runs_on")
- Select Open Relationship Grid
- A matrix opens in the workspace
Reading the Matrix
- Rows represent source nodes
- Columns represent target nodes
- A filled cell means a relationship exists between that source and target
- An empty cell means no relationship exists
Creating and Removing Relationships
- Click an empty cell to create a new relationship between the source (row) and target (column)
- Click a filled cell to remove the relationship
- Changes are applied immediately to the model
Tips
- Relationship grids are excellent for understanding the overall connectivity of your model
- Use them to quickly spot missing or unexpected connections
- They work especially well for many-to-many relationship types
- The grid only shows node types that have Allowed Connections for the selected relationship type
