Branding Your Publication

Beginner

Set the site title, logo and colours so a publication looks like yours.

A publication carries its own light branding, set in the Theme section of its properties.

  • Site title — the name in the site header and the browser tab. Defaults to the publication's name.
  • Logo — shown beside the title. Click Use an image asset… to pick an image you have uploaded to the model, or paste a URL.
  • Site name colour, Link colour and Accent colour — three colour pickers. The accent colour drives highlights throughout the site.

Every colour has Reset to default, which returns it to Metapad's standard palette. Anything you do not set simply keeps the default, so an unthemed publication looks clean rather than unstyled.

Good to know

  • To use your own logo, upload it as an asset in your model first — then it appears in the picker.
  • The theme applies to the website. PDF exports currently use the standard Metapad layout.
