Collaborating with Your Team

Metapad supports real-time collaboration — multiple people can work on the same model simultaneously.

Sharing a Model

1. Open the model you want to share
2. Click the Share button in the Menu Bar
3. The Share Dialog opens
4. Invite team members by email or share a link
5. Set permissions (view, edit)

Real-Time Collaboration

Once a model is shared:

• All team members can open it simultaneously
• Changes sync instantly — you see other users' edits in real-time
• Each user's cursor/selection is visible to others
• There's no need to save or refresh — everything syncs automatically

Team Management

1. Go to Team Settings
2. Here you can:
   • Add or remove team members
   • Set roles and permissions
   • Manage team-level settings

Tips

• Communication helps — let team members know which part of the model you're working on
• Use diagrams to divide work: different team members can focus on different diagrams
• The version history tracks who made which changes
• Changes from all collaborators are merged automatically — no manual conflict resolution needed
